Summary

This program is brought to you in partnership with the Illinois Fire Sprinkler Coalition, who would like to congratulate the Plainfield Fire Protection District on joining the growing list of communities working to increase resident safety.

Please visit homelifesafety.com to learn more.

The recent budget crisis in Illinois has brought into focus the mounting pressure on public service agencies to find ways to do more and more with less and less, and to shrink the size of government in the process. This program will review the many methods by which fire service agencies are already addressing this demand by sharing resources and services and the legal mechanisms in place to, when and if necessary, merge, consolidate or regionalize fire service agencies.
