This program will focus on the responsibilities of the important office of the fire protection district treasurer. It will center around the annual “financial life cycle” of the district and consider the budget & appropriation process, determination of the district’s tax levy, and required financial reporting and recordkeeping by the treasurer. Practical suggestions and recommendations to make the job of the treasurer more efficient and less burdensome will be discussed.

1 hour CE available for those who have completed the ATT/ETT program.
